Isn’t entrepreneurship about problem-solving in its essence?

One way to problem-solve is by not contributing to one. And we’ve made the decision not to contribute to the possible spread of the Coronavirus pandemic by potential exposure: Accordingly for the first time in Entrepreneur Night’s eight-plus years of history an event is being cancelled.

As you know events are held on the last Tuesday of every month (except in July, August, December). But there will not be an Entrepreneur Night in March and in April of 2020, for the first time, since that first event in September 2011.

UPDATE
All 2020 & 2021 and first half of 2022 events have been cancelled.
Next planned event is TBA.

Ky Ekinci, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Office Divvy said:

“Rain or wind we’ve never had to cancel an event, but this time around it is different. Coronavirus is inevitable in Flagler County. Entrepreneur Night events consistently attract newcomers and people traveling from surrounding counties. With recent cases in St. John’s and Volusia, and the demographic factors of density of “silver entrepreneurs” (folks who are 55+) we cannot take the risk of exposing our regional entrepreneurial community to potential vulnerability in the middle of a pandemic that’s proven to be growing exponentially. Out of an abundance of precaution we’ve decided to cancel March and April 2020 events accordingly.”

Entrepreneur Night is a traveling event series by and for entrepreneurs with a mission to enable peer-to-peer connections and conversations among entrepreneurs. Events have been attended by over 10,000 individuals and have been held in over 10 cities in 5 central and northeastern Florida counties so far.

March 2020’s event was to be held at the wonderful Bull Creek Fish Camp in Bunnell. We’ve had an event there previously, and captured this footage:

The owner of Bull Creek Fish Camp, Chris Zwirn said,

“In this most beautiful part of Flagler County, Bull Creek Fish Camp offers a unique setting and the most wonderful sunsets in our county. We’re lucky in having a smaller population in this area, and we believe the West side of Flagler County probably the safest when it comes to Coronavirus combined with our increased vigilance in our operations for prevention. We were glad to coordinate with the team at Office Divvy and move the event to be hosted at our venue to October 2020, and we look forward to hosting a wonderful event then.”

Please note that rest of the 2020 Entrepreneur Night events have accordingly been cancelled.

The event is expected to return as of April 2021. Further information will be available on this website as we monitor the situation and make updates available.
