June’s Entrepreneur Night was celebrated at La Piazza Café in European Village on the last Tuesday in June.  It was another record breaking showing of support from area writers, bloggers, Entrepreneurs, Sole Practitioners, and Small Business Owners for Entrepreneur Night with 161 in attendance despite the rain bands from Tropical Storm Debby.

We added a “Speed Networking” component to the June event along with a custom “Dance Card”. Guests were asked to attempt to talk with 12 NEW people.  On their Dance Card, they jotted down the names and contact details as they introduced themselves during a short window of time. Those who collected more than 12 were entered into a drawing for prizes. The Dance Cards were well received and you will be seeing more of them J

Entrepreneur Night is drawing people at various stages and cycle of business. Bringing Entrepreneurs, Sole Practitioners, Start-ups together. Stay tuned for big developments to come on locations, guest attendees, and new locations beyond Palm Coast and Flagler County.

We announced our Entrepreneur of the Month for July, Christie Hyde of Christie’s Creations. Check out her essay here: Christie Hyde, July 2012 Entrepreneur of the Month.

Kudos to our guest who traveled the furthest distance to attend Entrepreneur Night, Carolyn Keane of Inventing Daily –a new inventors network located West Palm Beach.  And special thanks to The Team at La Piazza Café for being gracious hosts, serving beer and wine to a thirsty crowd, and for those delicious appetizers.  Special thanks also go to Kevon Re’mon’te –for providing the PA Equipment and singing wonderful songs late into the evening.

Entrepreneur Night takes a break for July and August and as the song goes, see you in September. The last Tuesday of the month is our formula. That makes our next get together September 25th. Mark your calendar and be there — or be square. 🙂
